Jinja , your first activity will be at spectacular Sezibwa Falls. This is a cultural heritage site of the Buganda Kingdom that is rich with traditional folklore as shall be narrated by the site guide! Other than the cultural aspects, the falls are spectacularly beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery. There are plenty of birds such as Blue trakles, Hornbills, Black headed weaver birds, African Eagles and some Primates such as Velvet monkeys, Red tailed monkeys and more that may be sighted in the nearby forest. You will spend roughly an hour exploring these serene spiritual grounds before returning to the highway.
After Zip lining continue to Jinja the Source of the Longest River in the World the River Nile which starts its way from Lake Victoria Jinja to Mediterranean Sea in Egypt. You will cross the cable beautiful bridge capture photos on the bridge for memories as you proceed to the Source of the Nile with en-route Lunch in Jinja city.
Take a boat ride from the shores of the Nile to the exact spot where John Speke stood when discovering the source of the Nile, on boat you expect to enjoy the ride further into Lake Victoria, enjoying the beautiful countryside. For the keen birders, there are plenty of water birds including Cormorants, Egrets, Fish Eagles, Pelicans, Pied king fisher diving for prey etc….The ride is roughly an hour long after visiting the Nile you will vist craft shops for Souvenirs.You will then return and depart for Kampala, hence marks the end of our 1 day adventure to tour Jinja
