Bunyonyi is undoubtedly the loveliest lake in Uganda. The lake has got scenery that will stay with you on all of its 29 islands, the mountains and virunga volcanoes, its great spot as well as the lovely climates to relax and chill out. A magical place, especially with a morning mist rising off the placid waters, it has a selection of gorgeously remote and bucolic places to stay on distant island, where you have only the birds for company. Bunyonyi is bilharzias, croc and hippo free, and so its crystal clear waters are all yours to swim in Bliss. Lake Bunyonyi is also a very perfect place to relax and chill out, canoeing in a dugout canoe, swimming, island hopping, boating, hiking , birding, village visits, nature walk as you stay along Lake Bunyonyi

Day 1:Travel from Kampala to Lake Bunyonyi and an evening Nature walk

Your 3 days trip to Bunyonyi starts with a scenic road trip from the lodge of your choice from Kampala to South Western part of Uganda through the rolling plains and scene nature of the country. You will make a stopover at the equator line sign..

On arrival at the Island, you will take an evening Nature walk through the Islands and around the Lake. And the most interesting part will be the scenic lake Bunyonyi. The guides always escort you so that you don’t get lost or miss out one of the main highlights of the walk. The walk will be so scenic in nature, so you must always keep the camera at hand to enjoy Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 2: Bunyonyi canoeing, Boating and Lake Bunyonyi Birding

After an early breakfast you shall set off to start your adventure on a 29 Islands on Lake Bunyonyi as you explore the local villages, forests. You can take a dugout canoe with the guide and then discover the Worlds Uganda Magical Lake. This is a whole day event to be sculled across the lake.

As you are having a good bird boat safari with your own birding guide from the water, on some of the many Islands that enclose the shores of the Lake, there are chances for the sunset panorama. Dugout canoeing is famous experience and enjoyable

Day 3: Bunyonyi Cultural Tours and Transfer to Kampala

Have an early breakfast, and then visit the Batwa for an encounter and get to learn more about the culture and ways of living. Head back to the lodge, you will check out of the lodge then drive to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch. You will arrive in Kampala in the evening and our guide will drop you off at your accommodation, hence marks the end of our adventure at a clear Crystal Lake Bunyonyi.
